Knoxville Ice Bears vs. Evansville Thunderbolts

Knoxville Ice Bears vs. Evansville Thunderbolts at Knoxville Civic Coliseum

Hockey moves fast. Skating, passing, shots and saves stack up before you can catch your breath. The Knoxville Ice Bears take on the Evansville Thunderbolts at Knoxville Civic Coliseum on Sunday, December 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM. If you've been meaning to see professional hockey in person, this is the afternoon to make it happen.

Watching the puck move across the ice gives you something you can't get from a screen. You see the plays develop, hear the skates cut, feel the crowd react when a shot gets through. The Ice Bears bring professional hockey to Knoxville, and a home game gives you a contest to follow in person. For fans who love the speed and physicality of the sport, being there is the point.

A Sunday game in late December offers a reason to spend the afternoon together. Invite someone who's curious about hockey, or a friend who already follows the Ice Bears. You don't need a special occasion to choose an outing; the game gives you one. Pick the afternoon that works and make plans around it.

Think about who you'd enjoy the game with and extend the invitation. Explore ticket options for the Knoxville Ice Bears and put a Sunday afternoon on your calendar.
