Knoxville Ice Bears vs. Athens Rock Lobsters

Knoxville Ice Bears vs. Athens Rock Lobsters at Knoxville Civic Coliseum

The puck drops, the clock starts, and suddenly the rink becomes the only thing that matters. The Knoxville Ice Bears face the Athens Rock Lobsters at Knoxville Civic Coliseum on Friday, November 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Professional ice hockey puts speed, skill and contact in front of you. If you've never followed a live play from blue line to net, this is the night to see what that feels like.

Ice hockey rewards attention. Skating, passing, shots and saves give you a fast-moving contest to track, and sitting in the stands lets you follow developing play away from the puck rather than waiting for a replay. The Ice Bears compete as a professional team, so the athletes on the ice are doing this for a living. That level of commitment shows in how they move and how they respond when the game tightens.

A Friday game gives you a reason to make plans before the weekend fills up. Invite a friend who understands the appeal of live competition, or bring someone curious enough to try their first hockey experience. The occasion matters as much as the outcome: you chose the night, found someone to go with, and made room for something other than another evening at home.

Let the game be the reason you get out this Friday. Check ticket options for the Knoxville Ice Bears and plan a night at the Coliseum.
