Drive By Truckers

Drive By Truckers at The Mill & Mine

Can a rock band stay vital after 2,500 shows and 14 albums? Drive-By Truckers prove the answer every time they plug in. The band plays The Mill & Mine in Knoxville on Wednesday, February 17, 2027, at 8:00 PM. Founders Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley still lead a lineup delivering the raw guitar riffs and Southern rock storytelling that made them matter in 1996.

The Truckers earned their reputation by refusing to soften the edges. Their celebrated trilogy—American Band, The Unraveling, and The New OK—took on American society without flinching, while Welcome 2 Club XIII looked back at early days and adult realities with the same honesty. This is a band that writes about what it sees, not what sells easily. For fans drawn to music with something to say, that refusal to play it safe is exactly the appeal.

Wednesday night in Knoxville offers a reason to gather with someone who values music built on conviction. Invite a friend who appreciates guitar-driven rock that doesn't apologize. A partner who respects a band that stayed true to its voice across three decades. Choose the show together and you choose an evening anchored by substance.
