John Mulaney at Tennessee Theatre

John Mulaney brings the Mister Whatever tour to Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville on Sunday, December 6, 2026, at 7:30 PM. If his Netflix specials became part of your routine, here's your chance to watch that polished craft work in real time. Mulaney built his reputation writing for Saturday Night Live and performing stand-up that pays close attention to language, timing and structure. A theater show puts that appeal in front of you.

Mulaney's four Emmy Awards and his work on projects like Everybody's in LA and the Broadway play All In: Comedy About Love show a performer comfortable working across formats. His newest material continues a career built on careful observation and precision. Stand-up fans drawn to his approach will find something worth their focus. This is comedy that invites you to listen.

Invite someone who appreciates a sharp set. A friend who quotes the same specials you do. A partner who'd enjoy spending a December evening at Tennessee Theatre. Choosing the show together gives you a reason to make plans and something to discuss on the drive home. Comedy works better when you're not laughing alone.

Let the appeal of Mulaney's craft settle the question. Explore ticket options for John Mulaney in Knoxville and put a Sunday night of stand-up on your calendar.
